We are kicking off a new segment of our blog called “In Our Closet,” which will show you our own outfits and some tips along the way. We will provide links when the items are still in stores. Hope you enjoy!

First, let me throw it out there that I hate pictures of myself (I get really awkward around cameras), so I must REALLY love our readers!  But moving on: You will see a lot of colored pants in my closet. It’s one of my favorite trends. For this oufit, Casey and I were visiting a new client, so I wanted to make sure to maintain a level of professionalism while being on trend. Also, I was feeling particularly “hippy” that day, so I made sure to add the light-colored blazer 1) to add structure to the shoulders thus balancing out my hips and 2) to bring the attention toward my face with a lighter color.
